The 13th Watford Beer Festival took place between the 8th and 10th of November 2007. The festival was once again held in the function room at the West Herts Sports Club; expanded this year by the addition of a heated marquee. Visitors to the festival were encouraged tell us the best beers (and ciders) they had over the three days, and from these lists we've been able to come up with the following list of the most popular beers of the festival.
1. Tryst Carronade IPA
2=. Garton Liquid Lobotomy and All Gates Bright Blade
4. Marble Ginger Marble
5=. Hambleton Nightmare, Castle Rock Harvest Pale and Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild
8=. Potbelly Pigs Do Fly and Mighty Oak Maldon Gold
10=. Abbeydale Black Mass and Dark Star Porter
Congratulations to the brewers of all the top beers, especially Tryst, and thanks to everyone who helped to make the festival a success, both staff and visitors.
